When families hear the words “private school,” it can feel overwhelming, like something meant for other people, not for them. We understand that reaction. At first glance, tuition can seem like a barrier too high to climb.

But here’s what we’ve learned from the families who walk our halls here at ISJ Academy every day: it’s often not about having more - it’s about choosing differently.

For many of our families, the decision to invest in a Lutheran education doesn’t come without sacrifice. It may look like fewer dinners out and more meals around the kitchen table. It might mean choosing simpler vacations or pressing pause on frequent shopping trips. These are real, intentional trade-offs.

And yet, those same families will tell you - it’s worth it.

They gain a Christ-centered foundation where their child is known, valued, and nurtured daily. They gain a strong academic environment with small class sizes and individualized attention. They gain a community that partners with them, reinforcing the same faith and values taught at home.

The sacrifices made today - big or small - help build a foundation that lasts a lifetime,  a foundation rooted in faith, character, and academic strength.
